澳门足彩app collected its fourth consecutive National Safety Excellence Pinnacle Award at the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) 35th Annual Excellence in Construction Awards Gala on February 26 in Las Vegas.
It was the fifth time in six years 澳门足彩app has received the organization’s highest safety honor, and Lance Simons, Vice President of Safety and Quality, said the company was continuing to raise the bar.

Each year, the ABC National Health and Safety Excellence Awards recognize companies that exhibit a continued commitment to jobsite health and safety and whose safety performance and programs are judged to be exemplary by the ABC National Health and Safety Committee.
Awards are based on data submitted via the ABC STEP® Health and Safety Management System, essay questions and video interviews with company presidents/CEOs/principals about their corporate health and safety culture. 澳门足彩app, as a member of the ABC Florida First Coast chapter, participates in STEP and was recently recognized with the STEP Diamond designation, the highest of six levels. Award categories are based on a company's total work hours per calendar year and placement within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS codes).

Based on the Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR), which is compiled by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and tracks the company’s full-time employees, 澳门足彩app team members worked a record 4.99 million hours and performed more than two-and-a-half times better than the non-residential building construction industry average of 1.6 incidents per 100 workers.
However, Simons emphasized that 澳门足彩app champions a Field-Focused approach to safety and is obligated to the safety and well-being of all who execute its projects, including subcontract partners. In 2024 澳门足彩app managed a record 13.1 million exposure measured by its Work in Place metric.
“We adopted the Work in Place metric six years ago, and that number continues to improve steadily, driven by strengthened prequalification with safety as a key component,” Simons said. “Since the adoption of this metric, we have been successful in the management and reduced severity of incidents during a period of continuous elevation in exposure hours. From our customers' vantage point, we're seeing the numbers continually improve.
“Our expectations as an organization for safety are extremely high – as they should be. You know, zero is tough to obtain in what we do. It really is. But it takes continued diligence, and if something is going to happen, you want to be very low severity and manage it to the betterment of the individual and the overall organization.”
